I'm thinking about doing karate, do I have to buy a suit?
A,
“We suggest that you train for a few weeks first to make sure it’s what you want to do, and if after then you feel that it’s right for you, yes you will need a suit. Suits can be purchased from between £10.50–£20.00 (depending on size), for a standard suit which is recommended for your first suit. Better quality suits are available but are obviously considerably more expensive.”
”The correct term for your training suit is 'Gi'.”
